Met on arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport or Arusha Airport. Transfer to your accommodation in Arusha for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, you will meet an office representative / your tour guide for a briefing about your safari, then take 2 hours’ drive to Tarangire National Park. Along the way, you will take in the scenic views of the grassland plains speckled with the ancient baobab trees, nomadic people (Masai) in their colourful dress walking on the roadside, riding bicycles, herding cattle and driving donkeys’ carts and traditional Maasai houses. You will see all that Tarangire National Park is known for – the famous ancient baobab trees, tree climbing pythons, and the largest concentration of African elephants, lions, leopards, cheetah. After a picnic lunch in midday, you will resume your afternoon game drive then drive to Karatu hotel/Lodge/Camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

You’ll depart from Karatu after breakfast and begin the drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The journey takes approximately half an hour, you’ll enter Ngorongoro Crater.
The crater is one of Africa’s impressive geological attraction and supreme mecca of wilderness. You will descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife. In midday, you will have your lunch at the base of the crater. This collapsed volcano is the main feature of the area and creates a unique ecosystem with a wide variety of vegetation. Enjoy the beautiful colours of the landscapes and the diversity of animals. The crater is home to the highest concentration wildlife in Africa and is choked with elephants, lions, buffaloes, hippos and even the rare black rhino. This is one of the best places to spot all of the Big Five. The views from the crater rim over the crater floor are incredible. Because of its natural beauty the Ngorongoro Crater is chosen as one of Africa’s Seven Natural Wonders.
There are a range of activities to do in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, like visiting a Maasai village (Option).
In the afternoon we will ascend the crater and drive to your hotel in Arusha or proceed to Airport for flight back home.
