Discover Tanzania’s greatest national parks on this 7 day Tanzania Safari. You will start your safari in the kingdom of the elephants, Tarangire National Park. Lake Manyara visit, the famous lake on the northern circuit known by a huge variety of birds, with the tree-climbing lions. Visit the famous Serengeti, home to an abundance of wildlife as well as the impressive wildebeest migration. And the striking Ngorongoro Crater, a natural wonder with the world’s highest concentration wildlife. These are two of Africa’s Seven Natural Wonders you can witness on this amazing safari.
This private safari offers you the flexibility to travel at your own pace, exactly the way you like it. You will have a private safari vehicle and guide. The accommodation for this safari will be provided to suit your budget, you will spend nights on either campsite, mid-range hotels or luxury hotels.

After breakfast, you will meet an office representative / your tour guide for a briefing about your safari, then take 2 hours’ drive to Tarangire National Park. Along the way, you will take in the scenic views of the grassland plains speckled with the ancient baobab trees, nomadic people (Masai) in their colourful dress walking on the roadside, riding bicycles, herding cattle and driving donkeys’ carts and traditional Maasai houses. You will see all that Tarangire National Park is known for – the famous ancient baobab trees, tree climbing pythons, and the largest concentration of African elephants, lions, leopards, cheetah. After a picnic lunch in midday, you will resume your afternoon game drive then drive to the hotel/Lodge/Camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

You’ll depart from Tarangire after breakfast and begin the drive to Lake Manyara National Park. The journey takes approximately two hours, you’ll enter Lake Manyara National Park. Though one of the smaller national parks in the country, it still packs a punch. Expect to spot herds of elephants slowly trekking across the plains, vast troops of baboons in the thick forest canopy and – if you are lucky! – perhaps even tree-climbing lions.
A mesmerizing variety of wildlife can be found around the huge soda lake, including buffalos, warthogs, giraffes, wildebeest, zebras, and plenty of pink flamingos. The shallow Hippo Pool is always a highlight and offers excellent opportunities for hippo sightings as well as spectacular views of the Rift Valley Escarpment.
Return to your hotel/Lodge/Camp luxury lodge around sunset for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast we head towards the Serengeti National Park. This drive will take you through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area so you will be able to view the Ngorongoro Crater on the way. This drive will take around six hours depending on the game on the way because sometimes there is a high concentration of game on the southern plains. You may have a chance to stop at the Ndutu area depends on the time.
You will stop for a picnic lunch on the way then proceeds to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species.
Serengeti’s stunning landscape can be seen in some of the most impressive nature documentaries. The endless plains and abundance of wildlife are unsurpassed. The annual wildebeest migration with more than a million wildebeest is probably the highlight of the Serengeti. It is a true spectacle and impressive to watch millions of wildebeest, zebras and gazelles thunder across the endless plains of the Serengeti. Together with your private guide you will be looking for the herds across the plains. Apart from the migratory animals you will also get to see lots of other animals, like lions, cheetahs, leopards, and many more. Expect to be impressed by the natural beauty of Africa’s most famous park.
If you like to watch wildlife from another perspective, we recommend you to go on a balloon safari (Option). It is an amazing experience to drift silently above the plains with herds of wildlife.

Wake up early, so that you can depart for a full day game viewing, moving with the herds across the plains exploring the Great Wildebeest Migration in the northern part toward the Mara River. An impressive experience to see all those hoofed mammals, followed by predators, migrate in a clockwise circle every year. If you would like also to spot the Big Five animals (lion, elephant, leopard, rhino, and buffalo) all in one park, the Serengeti is the place to be.
In the evening, you will drive back to your Hotel/Lodge/Camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, you will proceed with packed lunch for early morning game drive between 08:00 – 14:00 hours. After completing a half day game drive along with a picnic lunch, we will branch out and head towards the Ngorongoro crater rim, while enjoying a game drive en-route.
The crater is one of Africa’s impressive geological attraction and supreme mecca of wilderness. The eventful day comes to an end with a heavy dinner and a good rest in your Hotel/Lodge/Camp. Get a good rest and refuel yourself, for the following day you will descend into the massive crater.

After an early breakfast, you will descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife. In midday, you will have your lunch at the base of the crater. This collapsed volcano is the main feature of the area and creates a unique ecosystem with a wide variety of vegetation. Enjoy the beautiful colours of the landscapes and the diversity of animals. The crater is home to the highest concentration wildlife in Africa and is choked with elephants, lions, buffaloes, hippos and even the rare black rhino. This is one of the best places to spot all of the Big Five. The views from the crater rim over the crater floor are incredible. Because of its natural beauty the Ngorongoro Crater is chosen as one of Africa’s Seven Natural Wonders.
There are a range of activities to do in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, like visiting a Maasai village (Option).
In the afternoon we will ascend the crater and drive to your hotel in Arusha or proceed to Airport for flight back home.
